How it works

Made for your fence, not off a shelf

Every order is built to spec. Send us the length and height of fence you want to cover and we make the panels to fit.

1

Sized to your fence

Panels are 3 ft wide and cut a few inches shorter than your fence. On a 10 ft fence we make them 9 ft 6 in.

2

Hung on S hooks

Galvanized grommets hook onto the top rail. That leaves a couple inches at the top and 3 to 4 inches open at the bottom for drainage and airflow.

3

Up in a day

Your own crew can hang them in a day. Or we include installation through our partners at DH Distribution, Northern California's premier tennis court windscreen company.

Independent sound study

Walnut Creek measured it. Neighbors barely hear it.

In April 2023 the City of Walnut Creek studied 8 pickleball courts in play at Rudgear Park, with our curtains on two sides of the fence. The results went to the city's Parks, Recreation and Open Space Commission.

Pricing

$6 to $8 per sq ft

All in, tax and shipping included. Where you land depends on the size of the project and whether you'd like us to install. Height matters a lot (a 6 ft fence vs a 12 ft fence), so we always ask for it. It can't be seen in satellite photos.

Example

One side of a court, 60 ft of 10 ft fence = 600 sq ft, or about $3,600 to $4,800 delivered. Tell us your length and height and we'll send you a real number.

FAQ

Common questions

Will my chain link fence hold them?

Each panel is roughly 40 lb, and the weight is spread evenly along the top rail on S hooks. We've never had a fence that couldn't handle it.

Do they let air through?

No. The panels are solid, and that's what lets them block sound. We leave 3 to 4 inches open at the bottom for drainage and some airflow at ground level, and most sites only cover the sides facing homes.

Do we have to cover every side?

Usually not. Most courts only curtain the side or sides facing the neighbors. We're happy to help you figure out where they'll do the most good.

Who installs them?

Most crews hang them themselves in a day. We can also include installation through DH Distribution, Northern California's premier tennis court windscreen company.

Can we see one first?

Yes. In Northern California, Darrin will drop a sample off in person. You're also welcome to go see the curtains at El Macero Country Club in Davis.

How long do they last?

They're waterproof, UV protected and tear resistant, with a 5 year warranty and an 8 to 10 year expected life.
